If the technique isn’t realistic, it isn’t taught at Legacy 22. Only the most practical tactics & techniques from the most practical martial arts are incorporated.

All student at Legacy 22 study a mixed martial arts curriculum that includes techniques from Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Judo, Wrestling, & Boxing. All arts have extremely useful techniques. All arts have extremely silly techniques. Our curriculum incorporates only what works.

Mixed Martial Arts doesn’t mean cage-fighting or skull-bashing, necessarily.
It’s true that every proven adult martial artist has to engage in full contact training, eventually. But there’s no need for that until the adult students are actually ready. -
You will not have little children training at your side. Some mature teenagers isn’t out of the question. But never frolicking little children.

Adult classes are setup so that, especially when you’re new, you’ll be challenged but not humiliated or abandoned. Although you should still expect it to be tough, physically. And the actual training content is simple enough for anyone with good effort to keep up.

5% Warm-Up / Conditioning
30% Striking Techniques
30% Grappling Techniques
35% Controlled Grappling / Sparring Rounds
